Quick, Easy, and Delicious!!
I was lucky enough to be selected as one of 50 bloggers to participate in the Fab With Five recipe contest sponsored by Saucy Mama. The challenge - use a Saucy Mama condiment and only four other ingredients (salt, pepper, and oil are free ingredients) and create delicious dishes. Over the Course of the Next Few Weeks I'll be Posting easy quick recipes that can be completed with a small number of ingredients and on the table fast.
Thanks to great condiments like Saucy Mama - quick and easy can also be delicious!! After selection as one of the lucky bloggers I received a wonderful shipment of Saucy Mama sauces including:
- Apricot Ginger Mustard
- Tarragon Lemon Mustard
- Dijon Mustard
- Sweet Heat Marinade
- Pacific Rim Ginger Dressing
- Chipotle Ranch Dressing
I knew I wanted to use all the sauces and wanted to create an additional challenge - create recipes with active prep time of no more than 15 minutes. So my new challenge:

To make a dinner fabulous requires only a few of steps:
ReplyDelete1. marinate some chicken in the Saucy Momma tarragon lemon mustard for about 1 hour
2. BBQ till nicely done (will be moist due to the marinating)
3. Serve with fresh green salad tossed with a bit of Honey Dijon Dressing!

ReplyDeleteFirst: If I win any Saucy Mama products I'd love to have them sent to my daughter so she can get a lil' saucy now that she is a brand new mama. The sauces and mustards (her hubby loves mustard) coupled with their ability to combine flavors in a great way would show forth in some marvelous dishes!
ReplyDeleteI make dinners fabulous by selecting a really great prepared sauce, like Saucy Mama, and then adding lots of fresh veggies with a little chicken or fish. Works for us every time!

ReplyDeleteI make dinner almost every night for the family and I have a crazy twist on it. I make it fabulous by sitting down with Scott and Braydon every night to reconnect after our crazy day. It really doesn't matter what I make, it is about the time we share together. I love to use my Mom's recipes in so many things. I will also teach Braydon how to cook some of those things so he keeps it going. Love you Jennifer~
